Laura was an avid gamer with both PC and Consoles. Her well known moniker and gamer tag "Crofty" was derived from one of her favorite video games and heroine characters, Laura Croft.

The first game that Laura and I played together was Left 4 Dead which came out around November of 2008. We (along with a few other DePaul friends) played for hours every night.

In September of 2011 Laura, Jerry, Ben and I played another zombie Co-Op game, Dead Island. This was one of the worst games we ever played; completely loaded with bugs that would randomly crash the game for the entire party. However, we endured and successfully completed the game.

In December of 2011, Laura and I both started playing the highly awaited MMORPG Knight of the Old Republic. We played for about 3 months and leveled very quickly. Our guild was one of the first to reach and beat the end game content. We eventually became bored after defeating all the challenges and decided to call it quits though.
